Designed to Inspire

ZEP-RE (PTA Reinsurance Company) is a regional organization charged with the task of promoting trade, development and integration within the COMESA region through trade of insurance and reinsurance business. Tectura International was appointed by ZEP-RE to develop designs and supervise the construction of their headquarters building in Lusaka, Zambia. The site spreads on about an hectare of land and is Located off Alick Nkhata Road in the Mass Media Area approximately five kilometers from the Central Business District of Lusaka.

The building is comprised of one block with 11,250 m2 of usable space supported by a 3,500 m2 underground parking facility. Modern contemporary finishes have been selected including a frameless, seamless curtain wall, aluminum eaves and overhangs, and intricately designed interior timber details. The interior layout is designed to accommodate a group or a single user tenant by either taking a number of floors or in the latter case taking the entire building. The building also offers a spectacular terrace view located on the upper floor which can be used as an entertainment area.
